Monitor Riser Stand

Monitor height is the single biggest ergonomic factor at a desk — the top of the screen should be at eye level, and most monitors sit too low on their stock stands. A riser fixes it and gives you storage underneath.

Fits: Monitors up to 27 inches

What actually matters

  • Most beds cannot fit a full riser, so print it in two halves with a dovetail or bolt them together. Do not scale it down to fit.
  • 40% infill minimum. A monitor is heavy and a sagging riser under a screen looks alarming and eventually fails.
  • Aim for the top of the screen at eye level when seated — that usually means 80–120 mm of lift.

Questions

Will it hold a 32 inch monitor?

Increase the top plate and infill. Very large monitors are better on a VESA arm than any riser.

Can I print it in one piece?

Only on a large-format printer. Two halves joined is the normal approach and just as strong.

Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
